Normal Motors and Honda Motor Co. plan to co-develop a line of reasonably priced electrical automobiles beginning in 2027.
The automakers say the collaboration will allow international manufacturing of “hundreds of thousands” of EVs, together with compact crossovers. The automobiles will likely be based mostly on a brand new international electrical structure powered by GM’s Ultium battery know-how, GM and Honda stated in a joint assertion Tuesday.
GM and Honda may even intention to standardize tools and processes for higher high quality, increased throughput and extra reasonably priced EVs for shoppers.
