Basis Automotive Corp. of Calgary continues to purchase dealerships in Texas.
Contemporary off coming into Tennessee in July, the group bolstered its Texas presence with its newest acquisition.
Basis Automotive on Aug. 30 purchased Mercedes-Benz of Wichita Falls from Patterson Auto Group. The dealership’s title stays.
The German luxurious dealership was certainly one of three Patterson Auto shops not included in Basis’s February acquisition of 5 franchised dealerships from Patterson. That deal included BMW, Buick-GMC-Cadillac, Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram-Fiat, Hyundai and Kia dealerships in Wichita Falls plus a used-vehicle dealership and two RV dealerships.
Wichita Falls is northwest of Dallas, close to the Oklahoma border.
It marks the primary Mercedes-Benz retailer for Basis Automotive. CEO Kevin Kutschinski stated the group plans to construct a brand new Mercedes-Benz facility, however he didn’t specify when.
In July, Basis purchased 4 dealerships in Tennessee.
Basis, of Calgary, Alberta, has a U.S. base in Houston. Along with Tennessee and Texas, the group has dealerships in Colorado and North Dakota, plus three in Canada.
