After Renault Group failed in a bid to merge with Fiat Chrysler Vehicles, PSA Group CEO Carlos Tavares swooped in to strike a deal final December to merge with the Italian-American automaker. That daring transfer was one of many explanation why Tavares was select because the Automotive Information Europe Group CEO Eurostar for 2020. Tavares mentioned the way forward for what would be the world’s fourth-largest automaker.
