Barrett-Jackson is auctioning off two automobiles this month from the non-public assortment of Edsel Ford II, together with a 1958 model of the automobile named after his grandfather.
“That is an incredible alternative to purchase ‘Edsel’s Edsel,’ in addition to his Ford Woody Wagon,” Barrett-Jackson CEO Craig Jackson stated in an announcement. “This pair of good-looking automobiles carries the gravitas of being owned by an icon of the American automotive business.”
The Edsel is a Bermuda wagon that was upgraded in 2016 with a V-8 engine, three-speed computerized transmission and revamped inside. Additionally up for public sale is a 1947 Ford Tremendous Deluxe Customized Woody Wagon. Each are autographed by Edsel Ford II, a Ford Motor Co. board member and cousin of Government Chairman Invoice Ford.
