DETROIT — The Detroit automakers and the UAW stated on Tuesday totally vaccinated staff at their U.S. factories is not going to must put on masks on the job starting on July 12.
Normal Motors, Ford Motor Co., Stellantis and the union that represents their U.S. manufacturing staff stated in a joint assertion that those that haven’t been vaccinated will proceed to put on masks at work.
“The duty power will proceed to watch information fastidiously and make any changes crucial to guard the well being and security of workers,” the joint assertion stated.
“Whereas the UAW and the businesses proceed following the protocols which have saved our workplaces secure, we all know that the most effective methods to battle this virus is by getting vaccinated.
