MORRISON, Colo. — Brittany Strain had the quickest run in Bandimere Speedway historic previous Saturday, rocketing to the No. 1 place in Prime Fuel on the Dodge/SRT Mile-Extreme NHRA Nationals.
Strain had a track-record run of three.717 seconds at 326.00 mph in her third No. 1 qualifier of the 12 months and twenty third whole.
“(Crew chief David) Grubnic said he was going to push it like he on a regular basis does, so because of my guys,” Strain said. “I’m excited to be proper right here and I’m merely glad to be once more in Denver. I really have to win on the mountain. I’ve on no account obtained proper right here in Denver and hopefully, we are going to win this issue tomorrow.”
Matt Hagan topped the Humorous Automotive self-discipline, and Matt Smith was the quickest in Skilled Stock Bike. Defending sequence champion Hagan ran a 3.966 at 319.22 on Friday in a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Smith had a 7.113 at 189.47 on an EBR to interrupt the monitor velocity report.
