Whereas the final passenger vehicle market in France went down by 15% year-over-year in June to 119,509, the plug-in section surged to a model new all-time month-to-month doc.
In entire, some 38,708 new plug-ins have been registered closing month (up 71% year-over-year), which is barely above the sooner doc well-known in December 2020.
Passenger plug-ins (37,408) accounted for about 18.8% of the auto market, which almost matches the December doc of nearly 19.3%. It signifies that nearly one in 5 new passenger cars is a plug-in.
One different issue is that all-electric cars have been noticeably above plug-in hybrids:
- Passenger BEVs: 20,899 – up 52% at 10.5% market share
- Passenger PHEVs: 16,509 – up 127% at 8.3% market share
- Delicate enterprise BEVs: 1,239 – down 22% at 2.6% market share
- Delicate enterprise PHEVs: 61
- Complete plug-ins: 38,708 – up 71%
Thus far this 12 months, the plug-in section elevated 117% year-over-year to over 150,000.
Product sales year-to-date:

- Passenger and Delicate enterprise PHEVs: 72,259 – up 256%

The proper-selling electrical vehicle in June was the Tesla Model 3 with a model new month-to-month doc of 5,001 registrations (up 706% year-over-year), which allowed it to grab #8 throughout the basic vehicle ranking along with #1 amongst abroad cars in France.
The second hottest model was the Renault ZOE with 3,349 fashions, adopted by the Peugeot e-208 (1,900).

Attributable to a powerful June, the Tesla Model 3 has strengthened its lead in France, whereas the Renault ZOE has returned to second place.
