MUNICH — Daimler is lowering Mercedes-Benz manufacturing at three crops in Germany and quickly halting output its manufacturing unit in Hungary on account of a scarcity of semiconductors.
The automaker has launched short-time working for workers on the Mercedes crops in Sindelfingen, Rastatt and Bremen in Germany.
In Rastatt, producton shall be diminished till the top of subsequent week. In Sindelfingen and Bremen output shall be lower till the top of the week.
The Kecskemet manufacturing unit will cease manufacturing for 3 weeks till mid-August.
