BRAINERD, Minn. — Brittany Pressure took the No. 1 spot in High Gasoline qualifying for the fifth straight occasion Saturday within the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd Worldwide Raceway.
Coming off her first victory of the season Sunday in Topeka, Kansas, Pressure had a 3.675-second run in a track-record 334.98 mph within the ultimate qualifying session.
“Coming off of that win in Topeka with my dad (John Pressure) was fairly unbelievable for all of John Pressure Racing,” Pressure mentioned. “We had been chasing that first win all season lengthy and we received it completed final weekend. Our plan is to repeat that this weekend in Brainerd. There is a completely different vitality within the pits after getting a win. There is no higher feeling than profitable and that is why we’re out right here.”
Bob Tasca III was the quickest in Humorous Automobile with a 3.870 at 334.15 in a Ford Mustang.
