Stellantis will halt manufacturing at Europe’s largest van plant on chip scarcity

MILAN — Manufacturing at Stellantis’s Sevel plant in Italy, which makes gentle industrial automobiles for Fiat, Peugeot and Citroen, will probably be halted as a consequence of a scarcity of chips.

With a each day manufacturing of about 1,200 vans, the manufacturing facility is the biggest van meeting facility in Europe.
