Ford extends chip-related downtime at F-150 vegetation

DETROIT — Ford Motor Co. on Wednesday knowledgeable workers that it might be extending downtime for the nation’s bestselling automobile, the F-150 pickup, and scaling again manufacturing of a few of its largest, most-profitable fashions due to the continued semiconductor scarcity.
