LAS VEGAS — Brittany Drive put herself in place for her twelfth No. 1 qualifier of the season Friday within the Dodge//SRT NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Drive had a 3.693-second run at 333.41 mph to shut out the High Gas qualifying session.
“That was an ideal run and an ideal begin for us,” Drive stated. “We have had success right here in Vegas and received the occasion in 2019. We’re within the hunt for (the championship) and that is thrilling for all of us. We will throw down and we’ll go for it. Each run issues and we’ll attempt to throw down each run. We need to get this achieved, however we have to do properly and we have to get a win this weekend.”
Alexis DeJoria led in Humorous Automobile, Kyle Koretsky in Professional Inventory and Steve Johnson in Professional Inventory Motorbike within the sixth of seven occasions within the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
