OTTAWA — The Tesla Mannequin 3 will not high the record of Canada’s most rebated electrical automotive.

Transport Canada says the favored battery-operated car was faraway from the eligibility record for the federal zero-emission car rebate in late November.

The carmaker simply raised the bottom value for the Mannequin 3 to $59,990, nicely above the $45,000 qualifying value to get the $5,000 rebate.

In 2019 the corporate lowered the value to simply below $45,000 to make it eligible for the rebate.

Because the rebate program started in Might 2019, almost 35,000 Teslas certified for it, greater than twice as many because the second-place Toyota Prius.
