Mercedes teases EQXX coupe-styled EV

Mercedes in January will present the EQXX, a “software-designed analysis prototype” that the automaker describes as “probably the most environment friendly automobile the model has ever constructed.”

Pictures launched this week point out that the EQXX can be a full-electric automobile with a coupe-styled sedan configuration, recalling the CLS first launched in 2004. If it enters sequence manufacturing the EV would broaden Mercedes’ vary of EQ full-electric automobiles into one other subcategory.

The latest EQ fashions are the EQB compact crossover and an AMG model of the EQS massive luxurious sedan. the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic.

Mercedes didn’t give technical particulars on the EQXX. It stated the prototype “contains advances throughout all components of its cutting-edge electrical drivetrain in addition to using light-weight engineering and sustainable supplies.”
