Ford acquired San Francisco-based Spin at a time when the micromobility firm had operations in 13 cities throughout the U.S., and when the corporate’s e-scooters price $1 to hire and 15 cents per minute. The corporate noticed a possibility to assist individuals on journeys that have been three miles or much less.
