FRANKFURT — German new-car registrations fell 18 p.c to 224,558 in June, in keeping with knowledge launched by the KBA motor transport authority.

Tesla massive month-to-month loser
Large losers final month included Mazda, down 50 p.c, Tesla, down 35 p.c, and Renault and Peugeot, each down 34 p.c. Fiat’s quantity dropped 30 p.c, whereas Volkswagen was down 24 p.c and Opel slipped 18 p.c.

Gross sales of full-electric automobiles fell 3.5 p.c for a 14.4 p.c market share, whereas plug-in hybrid registrations dropped by 16 p.c for a 11.7 p.c share.
Within the first half, German market gross sales are down 11 p.c to 1.23 million. Polestar six-month registrations rose 144 p.c, outpacing No. 2 Dacia with 45 p.c.
