MADRID — Stellantis has halted its Opel automobile manufacturing unit in Zaragoza in northern Spain for 5 shifts resulting from a scarcity of semiconductors, labor union CCOO stated.
The plant introduced it could droop manufacturing from Thursday night and resume output on Monday, a union consultant advised Reuters.
Opel declined to remark.
