Kot Auto Group expands B.C. reach with purchase of Knight Automotive store

Kot Auto Group is increasing its attain throughout British Columbia with the acquisition of Woodgrove Chrysler in Nanaimo.

The Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram retailer turns into the B.C.-based group’s eighth new-car dealership within the province and second on Vancouver Island. Kot Auto additionally operates a used-truck centre in Kelowna, B.C.

Firm President John Kot, who bought his first dealership in Kelowna in 2011, stated the group seems to be ahead to welcoming Woodgrove Chrysler’s employees to the broader staff.

“We’re excited to increase with a devoted home model to our portfolio and permit for extra alternative for our staff and our clients,” he stated in a launch.

Previous to the acquisition, Kot Auto centered completely on South Korean and Japanese manufacturers, working three Hyundai, two Genesis, one Kia and one Nissan dealership.

Phrases of the deal weren’t disclosed, however Kot thanked vendor Saskatchewan-based Knight Automotive Group for the “ease” of the transition.
