Alpine win bid to overturn Alonso demotion

Alpine have gained their bid to overturn Fernando Alonso’s penalty on the U.S. Grand Prix after the double world champion had misplaced seventh place as stewards upheld a protest from Formulation One rivals Haas concerning the security of his automobile.
