Bosch to open billion-dollar R&D center in Suzhou

BERLIN — German automotive provider Bosch is investing about $1 billion in a brand new R&D and meeting heart in Suzhou, China, the corporate mentioned on Thursday, with the primary part of the challenge prepared by mid-2024.

The middle  will develop and assemble elements for electromobility and automatic driving to promote primarily to Chinese language clients, it mentioned.

Bosch already has 4 factories in Suzhou, using virtually 10,000 employees.

The corporate ranks No. 1 on the Automotive Information listing of the highest 100 world suppliers with worldwide gross sales to automakers of $49.1 billion in its 2021 fiscal yr.
