Paul Napleton and stepson Danny Randolph of Napleton Auto Group acquired 5 dealerships in three transactions final 12 months to develop their partnership. Paul Napleton is the brother of Edward Napleton, CEO of Napleton Automotive Group, primarily based in Oakbrook Terrace, Sick.
Napleton and Randolph on Aug. 29 acquired Don McCue Chevrolet in St. Charles, Sick., from Tim McCue, Don McCue’s son, Randolph instructed Automotive Information. That dealership was renamed Napleton Chevrolet St. Charles. St. Charles is west of Chicago.
“We love the Chevrolet model, we completely love the market out right here in St. Charles,” Randolph mentioned. “The shop simply has a ton of alternative and untapped potential.”
Paul Napleton and Randolph, within the fourth quarter, went north to Wisconsin to develop their presence within the Badger state, shopping for Countryside Ford in Columbus and Countryside Chevrolet-Buick-GMC in Beaver Dam, from Keith Ghanian and Ted Naegeli. The transaction closed on Nov. 14, Randolph mentioned.
Each Wisconsin cities are northeast of Madison.
These dealerships have been renamed Napleton Columbus Ford and Napleton Chevrolet-Buick-GMC Beaver Dam.
The duo has owned a Chevrolet-Buick dealership in Columbus, Wis., since 2016, Randolph mentioned.
He mentioned he and Paul Napleton have been attracted by the shops being simply 20 minutes of one another.
“The shops have been very properly run and the sellers have been simply able to get out,” Randolph mentioned.
And on Dec. 1, Randolph and Paul Napleton purchased Rogers Auto Group, with Chevrolet-Buick-GMC and Hyundai-Genesis dealerships in Chicago, from Monty Scher.
