The Federal Freeway Administration mentioned it awarded a $9.58 million grant to the College of Michigan in Ann Arbor to conduct connected-vehicle know-how analysis.
The college’s Transportation Analysis Institute will use the cash to arrange town’s infrastructure for automobile know-how testing and deployment underneath the Ann Arbor Related Atmosphere Reimagined venture, in response to an announcement Thursday by the federal company.
The grant comes from the Superior Transportation Expertise and Innovation program, which funds security and effectivity innovation tasks within the U.S.
The Michigan venture will use mobile vehicle-to-everything know-how, a wi-fi communication device.
