Increasing Midwest auto retailer Zeigler Auto Group bolstered its Indiana presence and Subaru retailer depend with its newest acquisition.
Zeigler Auto on Monday purchased Bob Rohrman Subaru in Lafayette, Ind., and Bob Rohrman Subaru of Fort Wayne from Rohrman Automotive Group. The dealerships had been renamed Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette and Zeigler Subaru of Fort Wayne.
“Zeigler is proud to broaden our household of dealerships throughout the Midwest with these Subaru retailer purchases in Lafayette and Fort Wayne, which had been each prime areas for us when contemplating a strategic enlargement in Indiana,” Aaron Zeigler, the group’s president, stated in an announcement.
The Lafayette dealership, northwest of Indianapolis, is minutes away from Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc., the automaker’s lone manufacturing plant in North America. Fort Wayne is northeast of Indianapolis.
Final month, Zeigler, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and one of many largest privately owned dealership teams within the U.S., purchased three franchised dealerships in Michigan.
Zeigler now has 4 Subaru dealerships in its portfolio. Zeigler purchased its first Subaru dealership in Might 2021 with the acquisition of a retailer in northwest Indiana. The group acquired one other Subaru dealership as a part of a four-store acquisition in Wisconsin later that yr.
