Stellantis has claimed that manufacturing of the Ram 1500 might be moved from Detroit to Mexico, or so says the vice chairman of the United Auto Employees union, Wealthy Boyer.

Boyer claims that Stellantis intends on constructing a brand new electrical Ram pickup truck at its Sterling Heights Meeting Plant instead of the Ram 1500.
