During the presentation of the all-new 2024 Citroen e-C3, the French brand showed a video teaser of a three-row model for the B-SUV segment. Citroen didn’t name the model, but it is clearly the successor of the aging C3 Aircross expected to debut sometime in 2024.
The dark teaser revealed an LED lighting signature that’s very similar to the e-C3, as both are inspired by the Citroen Oli concept. The French B-SUV adopts a taller and boxier stance than the e-C3 as expected, featuring a noticeably longer body compared to its predecessor as noted in our earlier spy stories.

The highlight of the teaser is the confirmation of the model’s ability to carry 7 passengers in a traditional 2+3+2 layout. This will make the Citroen C3 Aircross the only 7-seater in the segment, offering a chunkier alternative to the Dacia Jogger.
Europe’s Citroen C3 Aircross will be a redesigned version of the New C3 Aircross that was first unveiled in May 2023 for regions like India, South East Asia, and South America. While the two siblings are expected to share a few body panels, the European version is expected to look more modern and pack more comfort, tech, and safety features.
The EU-market C3 Aircross will likely measure close to 4.32 m (170.1 inches) long, which is 170 mm (6.7 inches) longer than its predecessor.
Citroen didn’t go into specifics about the upcoming model, but Carscoops understands it be offered in both fully electric and petrol-powered forms. This is thanks to the adaptability of the “Smart Car platform” introduced in the C3/e-C3, which is likely a derivative of the eCMP/CMP architecture. The same stretched version of the new architecture will be used in the next-gen Opel Crossland, which is also coming in 2024 continuing the sibling relationship with the Citroen C3 Aircross.
