Lamborghini has finally adding PHEV tech to the one car in its lineup that was crying out for a plug-in conversion. The Urus SE combines a 612 hp (620 PS) twin-turbo V8 combustion motor with a 189 hp (192 PS / 141 kW) electric motor housed inside the eight-speed transmission.
That combination nets 789 hp (800 PS), making the SE the most powerful Urus available, and hurls the SUV to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 3.4 seconds. A 25.9 kWh battery gives a claimed range of 37 miles.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
