Ram has added Lunar versions of its 2500 Power Wagon and 2500 Rebel HD to round out the 2024 model year for both trucks.
Similar to the Lunar versions of the 1500 Rebel and 1500 TRX launched a year ago, Ram’s new Power Wagon Lunar and Rebel HD Lunar feature a gray paint scheme that’s meant to signify the gray color of the moon.
The special touches don’t end with the paint scheme, though. Both heavy-duty trucks also come with unique graphics in gloss black, black wheels (17-inch on the Power Wagon and 20-inch on the Rebel HD), 33-inch all-terrain tires, LED headlights, standard tow mirrors, and badging that matches the body color. The Power Wagon also gets a factory 2.0-inch lift kit.
Inside, the trucks get black leather trim with Surf Blue accent stitching, plus a detail resembling carbon fiber used for the doors and parts of the dash. The detail is borrowed from the TRX. The armrest also includes a “Power Wagon” or “Rebel” script, depending on the model, and both trucks feature a wireless charging pad for the first time.
2024 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Lunar
The Power Wagon Lunar is equipped with a 6.4-liter V-8 rated at 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. It also comes with front and rear locking differentials, and a sway bar disconnect system that allows more articulation for the wheels. The towing capacity is 10,610 pounds, and when needed, a Warn winch is neatly tucked in the front bumper.
The Rebel HD Lunar’s powertrain is a 6.7-liter turbodiesel with 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque, or enough grunt to deliver a towing capacity of 14,900 pounds.
The Lunar trucks will reach dealerships in October. The Power Wagon Lunar is priced from $75,205 and the Rebel HD Lunar from $85,490. Both figures include a $1,995 destination charge.
