The mad scientists over at Essential have taken a high-torque electrical motor from an obscure motorbike model, stuffed it right into a go-kart chassis, and created a life-altering wheelie machine that’s actually and fully bonkers.

Essential is a YouTube channel and Instagram that does all types of loopy powersports stuff, and this newest construct must be one among their craziest but.

“I’v [sic] taken aside a STARK VARG electrical Motocross (80 Horsepowers, 938 Nm Torque) and positioned the facility practice in a Go Kart,” reads Essential‘s video description – and, if you happen to’ve ever spent actual time in a correct racing kart, you already understand how loopy/superior that sounds.

Our personal Micah Toll coated the STARK VARG donor car again in 2021, calling the bikes revolutionary, “with specs that crush fuel bikes.” And, whereas STARK hasn’t made a lot noise since, its massively highly effective electrical motors (not less than) proved to not be vaporware! However, whereas the motor is attention-grabbing and the video is enjoyable in a Music of the Sausage Creature type of approach, the kart’s not the actual story right here.

There’s a much bigger story right here than a 700 lb-ft kart, although (938 Nm = 691 lb-ft). And it’s taking part in out over at Dodge, come to think about it. And at drag strips throughout America. Heck, even the Hemi devoted and the hillclimbers and the import tuner scenesters understands what’s coming – and that’s this: if you wish to go quick, actually, actually, pants-s**ttingly quick, it’s good to begin taking electrical energy significantly.
