Lucid is getting ready to shift focus to a larger segment of the market: luxury SUVs.
The EV brand on Tuesday announced that its 2025 Gravity SUV three-row, midsize SUV, which was first shown as a prototype at the 2023 Los Angeles auto show, will be available to order starting Nov. 7.

The first orders will be for a Gravity Grand Touring model priced from $94,900. A Gravity Touring will be the next model to launch late in 2025 and will carry a starting price of $79,900. Those prices exclude destination charges.

Though it’s yet to be confirmed, a Gravity Pure model may be launched at some point with an even lower starting price. The Pure is the entry-level model for Lucid’s debut Air sedan, and for 2024 it starts at $71,400, including a $1,500 destination charge.
Lucid Gravity
The Gravity Grand Touring starts production late this year at Lucid’s plant in Casa Grande, Arizona, while the Gravity Touring is slated to enter production in late 2025. The company didn’t say when deliveries will start.
Lucid said the Grand Touring will have more than 800 hp and enough battery capacity to deliver a range of more than 440 miles. The company said the battery size will be similar to that of the Air Grand Touring’s battery which is rated at 112 kwh.

Lucid Gravity
The Gravity looks like a Lucid with an overall shape and certain design details similar to the Air sedan. But it’s larger with a higher, more practical roofline, and a hood that dips down into the front bumper. Its high beams are mounted mid-bumper beneath the Air-like horizontal LED headlights, and a thin LED taillight ribbon wraps around the clamshell tailgate. It’s close to, but distinctly different, than the Gravity concept that was teased in 2022. The most pronounced difference for production is the roofline, which has been tapered and given a spoiler that’s integrated and flows off the rear C-pillar for better aerodynamics.
Inside, the Gravity will seat up to seven (a six-seat configuration is expected) and offer up to 120 cubic feet of storage space, including in a front trunk. Lucid plans to offer a pair of seats that can be installed in the front trunk for use when the vehicle is parked. A three-chamber air suspension system will also be available to deliver a comfortable ride.
Lucid Gravity
The Gravity rides on a new platform that uses a fast 900-volt electrical architecture. Lucid has previously hinted that the Gravity will be able to gain 200 miles of range in 15 minutes using a suitable DC fast charger. The company has also hinted that owners can expect up to 1,600 pounds of payload and up to 6,000 pounds of towing capacity.
Every Gravity is expected to feature automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, active lane control, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system. Lucid’s DreamDrive Pro driver-assist system, which promises hands-free driver assistance, will be available.
