BERLIN — Former Porsche govt Klaus Zellmer would be the subsequent CEO of Skoda, press experiences stated.
Zellmer, who’s presently VW model’s gross sales chief, will take up the function on July 1, in response to the experiences.
Zellmer turned VW model’s head of gross sales and advertising in 2020 after a 23-year profession at Porsche together with CEO of the sports-car model’s North American enterprise.
He’ll succeed Thomas Schaefer, who joined the VW model’s board of administration on April 1, initially as chief working officer.
Schaefer will turn out to be VW model CEO on July 1, succeeding Ralf Brandstaetter, who will take cost of VW Group’s China operations in August.
Zellmer is just not the primary former Porsche govt to be positioned in charged of Skoda. Bernhard Maier, a former head of Porsche’s international gross sales and advertising, was Skoda CEO from 2015 to 2020.
Porsche, Skoda and VW model are all a part of Volkswagen Group.
Skoda was not instantly obtainable for remark and VW declined to remark.
