F1 leader Leclerc has $320,000 Richard Mille watch stolen

Formulation One championship chief Charles Leclerc escaped unhurt after being robbed of his $320,000 Richard Mille watch in Italy on Monday night time.

Leclerc reportedly had the watch snatched whereas with pals and his coach, Andrea Ferrari, within the Tuscan metropolis of Viareggio.

In keeping with reviews in Italian media, Ferrari driver Leclerc was recognised by followers who stopped him for autographs and images. Within the crowd that rapidly fashioned round him, a thief managed to take away the watch from Leclerc’s left wrist.

Leclerc’s coach, Ferrari, posted to Instagram: “Through Salvatori has been fully at nighttime for months. We have now been reporting this for months.

“Nicely, yesterday night in Through Salvatori, they’ve robbed us. Consider arranging the lamps eventually? Asking for a good friend.”

It’s unclear whether or not the rest was stolen throughout the incident.

Native police have launched an investigation.

It’s not the primary occasion of a Richard Mille watch being taken from the wrist of an F1 driver. McLaren’s Lando Norris had a prototype Richard Mille stolen throughout the crowd hassle that adopted the ultimate of Euro 2020 at Wembley Stadium final summer season.
